Dr. Mark Mattison

Dr. Mattison received his schooling from the University of Minnesota where he graduated in 1976.  He was hired here at the La Crosse Veterinary Clinic following graduation in July of 1976.  Dr. Mattison shares his home with his wife, Wendy, who teaches in the La Crosse school district.  His hobbies include woodworking, singing, and acting.  He also enjoys vacationing in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and any time spent with his two children and three grandchildren.  Dr. Mattison loves performing surgery on dairy cows and has a special interest in pet allergies.  He has also been certified to practice acupuncture by IVAS (International Veterinary Acupuncture Society) since 1988.  Besides IVAS, Dr. Mattison also belongs to several veterinary organizations including the:  WVMA (Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Association), AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association), MVMA (Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association), and the AAVA (American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture).
