Dr. Jamie Skime

Dr. Skime is a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine.  She has roots here in the Midwest, having lived in Marathon, WI and Mantorville, MN previously.  Dr. Skime looks forward to being able to help people keep their pets healthy and happy as a veterinarian, and also enjoys the scenery and people of our region.  She lists dentistry, oncology, and ophthalmology as the areas of veterinary medicine that interest her most.  She also loves working with sheep, goats, and camelids.  In the future, Dr. Skime hopes to eventually become certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.  She is currently a member of the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Association of Small Ruminant Practitioners.  Dr. Skime shares her home with her husband, cats Dyna and Puggy, horse Charlie, goats Cornelius and Cornwallace, and 2 old koi fish.  In her spare time, she enjoys riding her horse, reading, spending time with friends and family, and going for motorcycle rides with her husband.
