Rita Miller, DVM, MS, Diplomat ACVIM

 Dr. Miller operates her own Internal Medicine Consulting Service based in Winona, MN.  She travels to our clinic by appointment to perform ultrasounds and echocardiography.  She also consults with our veterinarians on challenging cases, and can offer new perspectives for patient care.   Dr. Miller integrates very well with our staff and veterinarians, and we always look forward to her visits.  Her knowledge, experience, and compassion are all greatly valued by everyone at La Crosse Veterinary Clinic.  We feel very lucky to be able to offer our clients the expertise of a board certified veterinarian without the need to travel to a University hospital.

Dr. Miller is a 1994 graduate of the University of Minnesota’s College of Veterinary Medicine.  After graduation, she interned in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.  She then completed her residency and masters program at Ohio State University.  Dr. Miller was board certified by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 1998.  In addition to her own business, she works part time at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities as an assistant clinical specialist in small animal medicine and performs consultations as a telemedicine specialist for Idexx Cardiopet.
