Ellie Mae is our beautiful black cat who celebrated her 18th birthday this year!  A concerned client, who found her in May of 1990, brought her to us.  She survived drowning by climbing to safety from a rain filled pot.  Unfortunately, her siblings all drowned.  Ellie was very sick, cold, and undernourished.  With intense fluid therapy, nutritional support, and a lot of TLC, Ellie recovered.  Over the years, her loud purr and warm, gentle hugs have comforted many people.  She has been the most visible of our cats, always at the reception desk welcoming clients as they enter. These days she spends a lot of time napping, but can still be found patrolling the clinic on the hunt for food or treats.  Ellie is a very sweet, affectionate cat who drools when she's happy.  We love our Ellie Mae!
