Meet our Staff

Abby
has been employed by the
clinic since December of 2004. She
works full time assisting the doctors with
patients in exam rooms. Abby is a
graduate of the University of Wisconsin in
La Crosse with degrees in Bio-Medical
Science and Pre-Veterinary Science, and was
recently accepted into the Veterinary
Medicine program at the University of
Minnesota.

Becky
has worked as a Certified
Veterinary Technician at the clinic since June of 2003. She is a
2003 graduate of the Veterinary Technology program at Madison Area
Technical College. Becky belongs to professional organizations for
technicians including the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician
Association (WVTA), and
the Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians (MAVT).
Her main roles at the clinic involve assisting in surgery,
performing dental prophies, taking x-rays, and taking care of
hospitalized pets. Becky is also the technician supervisor.

Dara
has been at the clinic
since August of 1999. She works full time in many different
positions. Her main roles involve the ordering and stocking of all
the clinic’s medical supplies, maintenance of the laboratory
machines, and sterilization of the surgical instruments. When
needed, Dara also fills in for reception or technical work.

Jan
has been employed by the
clinic since March of 1999. She works part time as a receptionist.
Jan lists equine medicine, holistic medicine, and general health
care for cats and dogs as the areas of veterinary medicine that
interest her most. Jan likes working at the clinic because she gets
to meet new people, especially people who love animals.

Julie
has been with the clinic since May of 1997. As the clinic's
certified practice manager,
she supervises the clinic’s personnel, daily operations, and the
current and future organization of the practice.
Julie is an active
member of many professional organizations including the Wisconsin
Veterinary Practice Managers Association (WVPMA),
Veterinary Hospital Managers Association (VHMA),
and the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA).

Karen
has been employed by the clinic since February of 2001. She works
full time as a receptionist. Karen also attends to our cat and dog
kennels, ensuring that all patients have a clean, comfortable
environment during their stay with us. She spends individual time
with many of our patients, whether it’s walking a dog outside,
brushing mats from a cat, or giving special treats to a rabbit.

Katie
has been employed by the
clinic since July of 2005. She works full time assisting in exam
rooms and surgery, performing dental prophies, and caring for
hospitalized patients. Katie is a second year student, currently
enrolled in Cedar Valley College’s Veterinary Technology program.

Mary
has worked at the clinic since March of 2005. She works full
time assisting the doctors in exam rooms, caring for hospitalized
pets, and performing lab work and x-rays. Mary loves helping
animals and working alongside the veterinarians.

Pam
has been at the clinic since
August of 2004. She assists the doctors with patients in exam rooms
and cares for hospitalized pets full time.
Pat
has been at the clinic since May of 1998. In addition to working as
a receptionist, she also does all of the bookkeeping for the
clinic. Pat assists clients with nutritional analysis for those
pets who need special diets. She orders and stocks all of the pet
foods that are carried by the clinic. Pat also supervises the
nightly cleaning staff.

Patty
has been with the clinic since July of 1994. As a
receptionist, her welcoming face is probably one of the first you’ll
see when you come in the door. Patty is also the clinic's
office manager and supervises the reception staff.

Sarah
has been with the clinic
since March of 1996. As a Certified Veterinary Technician, she
assists with surgery patients, performs lab work, and cares for
hospitalized pets. Sarah also maintains this website.
. Sarah belongs to many professional
organizations including the Wisconsin Veterinary Technician
Association (WVTA),
Minnesota Association of Veterinary Technicians (MAVT),
and the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America (NAVTA).
She has also completed additional training in dentistry through the
American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians (ASVDT).

Scott
has worked at the clinic
since November of 1997. He assists the doctors in exam rooms
and also fills in when needed as a surgery technician. Besides
working with the patients, Scott also does many odd jobs, carpentry,
and other special projects around the clinic. Anytime there is
a clinic gathering or celebration, Scott is usually designated the
chef.

Stephanie
has been employed by
the clinic as a full time receptionist since June of 2004. If your
pet has recently been hospitalized, chances are, it is Stephanie’s
friendly voice you’ll hear calling to check on your pet.

Tristene
has worked as a full time
receptionist here at the clinic since
September of 2004. She enjoys working
with both the staff and patients.
